PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A crystalline building with a spiral silhouette is gradually rising in the heart of the Kirchberg district, along Avenue John F. Kennedy: this is where ArcelorMittal’s future global headquarters is taking shape. Designed by the architectural firm Wilmotte & Associés, the building aims to be modern, sustainable and exemplary, harnessing the full potential of steel from the ground to the roof.
With its clean lines, its green façade opening out onto the city, and its 10,000 tonnes of low-carbon steel sourced largely from Luxembourg’s steelworks, the Kirchberg Headquarters is much more than just an office building: it stands as a showcase for architectural and environmental innovation.
Scheduled to house ArcelorMittal’s global management functions from 2026, the headquarters will offer 2,600 workstations bathed in natural light. Flexibility, modularity and employee well-being are at the heart of this project, designed as a living space as much as a working one.
MISSION
At the heart of this landmark project, our team of surveyors plays a key role in ensuring the precision and quality of the construction work.
With a continuous presence on site, GEOTOP is responsible for establishing the reference control network, setting out the structural axes, and establishing elevation benchmarks through geometric levelling.
Every major stage – from the verticality of the lift shafts to the inspection of columns, slabs and the steel structure – is subject to rigorous checks. Our expertise contributes directly to the technical reliability and construction excellence of this world-class project.
